Priya Nadkarni is a New York based artist. She has a BFA from Rutgers University where she studied Printmaking and Art History. It was there that her interest in identity politics began.
Her artwork uses a range of vocabulary including performance, drawing and text. Nadkarni was recognized in 2008 with the Giza Daniels-Endesha Award for Outstanding Performance in Visual Arts.
